Jack Harkins is a Principal and Studio Leader in PSC’s Higher Education Sector. With more than 40 years of experience, he has led many collaborative efforts in master planning as well as building design for projects of all sizes and complexities.

Jack has been in charge of the planning and design of essentially all projects for Abilene Christian University and Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas for the past 35 years. In addition to the extensive experience in Higher Ed, Jack has been responsible for design and production of a broad range of project types ranging from airport terminal expansions and hangar design at the Abilene Regional Airport, to animal habitat design at the award-winning Abilene Zoo, and almost any other building type you might imagine in between. This truly shows his ability to listen to the client’s needs and provide innovative solutions through his approach to problem solving.
