Employee Spotlight – Pamela Gonzales
Pam is a Project Assistant in the Gordon/PSC office in Bernalillo. Her project experience ranges across a number of Civil Engineering disciplines, in both the public and private sector. She is from Placitas, New Mexico and does Halloween year round.
How did you first learn about PSC? We teamed with PSC on a project and then the merger happened.
Before working at Gordon/PSC, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? Corrales Police Department Dispatcher.
What has been your favorite Gordon/PSC project? Camino Real Landfill Public Hearing; Audio/Video set-up with included 4 monitors & projectors.
What was your proudest moment at Gordon/PSC? Getting the Audio/Vidoe to work the way we wanted it to for the Camino Hearing and getting everything set-up/broken down between locations for two weeks.
What is the best vacation you’ve been on? Disneyland.
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you? Christina Ricci.
Tell us a little about yourself. I am very shy when I first meet people and I like to sit back and people watch.
Tell us a little bit about your family. My family is a “yours, mine and ours” type family.
Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us. I like Halloween/horror and Disney/Scooby Doo.
Tell us three things most people don’t know about you. 1.) I play basketball; 2.) I like playing video games; and 3.) I am very competitive.
What celebrity do people think you look like? When I had my long hair, people said I looked like Christina Ricci and Angelina Jolie.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Still trying to figure that out!
What phobias do you have? Heights
What TV show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love? My favorite movies are the Nightmare on Elm Street and Alien franchise.
What would you like to be famous for? My office decoration set-up for the nearby schools on Halloween.
What’s the one thing you can’t live without? My dog, Buddy.
