Scharbauer Sports Complex Grand Opening
PSC combined the opening of Midland’s new Scharbauer
Sports Complex Baseball Stadium with a road trip for the Lubbock
office. Forty-nine brave souls boarded the 3:00 pm Special Charter
to Midland for the grueling 2-hour drive. Before hitting the southern
limits of Lubbock County, the crowd demanded that Butch and Clayton
quit singing Willie Nelson and move on to more social redeeming
entertainment - the movie Shrek. After a quick walk to the picnic
area, the “roadies” met up with PSC Midland and enjoyed
a feast of hot dogs, peanuts, cotton candy before joining the sell-out
crowd for the opening game of the Midland Rockhounds vs. the Oakland
A’s. The pre-game activities included recognition of PSC’s
key involvement in the planning, design and construction of the
facility. |
